Boston's Dispatch was comprised of Brad Corrigan, Pete Heimbold, and Chad Urmston. The isthmus debuted in 1996 with Silent Steeples, and returned a class later with Bang Bang. Both albums displayed the trio's three-part harmonies and nervy, college-friendly amalgamate of Barenaked Ladies-style acoustic pop and folk-rock with some reggae and blue funk influences. June 2000 saw the issue of Four-Day Trials, a fan-friendly album of first-class honours degree takes and live favorites; the album featured a jammy take on the Beastie Boys' "Root Down." World Health Organization Are We Living For? followed that October, and was marked by a dissent strain vibe to go with the normal round of blast grooves. By this peak, Dispatch had built a sizeable East Coast following with university gigs and a strong Internet presence. The buzz secured Dispatch some national new rock airplay of the reggae-tinged single "Open Up." The isthmus returned in 2001 with Gut the Van, which enjoyed home distribution through and through the Digital Club Network on-line memory board. Issued in November 2001, the double-disc release showcased Dispatch's energetic unrecorded act for its growing audience.

Keane Third Album "Nearly Done"

Keane are "nearly done" working on their third album say the band, after taking some time out following the release of 2006's 'Under The Iron Sea'.

The new songs were recorded in Paris and Berlin, with producer Jon Brion and new bassist / guitarist Jesse Quinn.

Although a tracklisting hasn't been revealed so far, song titles that are expected to feature are 'Playing Along', 'Black Burning Heart' and 'Perfect Symmetry'.

Pianist Tim Rice-Oxley also described another untitled track as "a lovely song we're trying to do in a kind of Mercury Rev-type of way. It's begging to burst into some kind of 'Only Living Boy in New York'-style extravaganza at the end."

No release date has been decided upon yet, but Keane should release the album in late 2008.

Coral Springs, FL, punk-pop band A New Found Glory formed in the summer of 1997, comprising singer Jordan Pundik, guitarists Chad Gilbert (ex-Shai Hulud vocaliser) and Steve Klein, bassist Ian Grushka, and drummer Joe Moreno. Longtime drummer Cyrus Bolooki replaced Moreno following their initial EP's press release. Renowned for their up-and-coming hot shows, the group toured up and down the East Coast, apace merchandising out the entire pressing of their 1997 debut EP It's All About the Girls, released through Fiddler. (Fiddler later reissued Girls in 2003 with raw continue art.) The uncut Goose egg Gold Can Stay followed in 1999 on Drive-Thru; A New Found Glory sign-language to major-label MCA before long after, re-releasing the album that autumn. The EP From the Screen to Your Stereo followed in the spring of 2000, heralding the loss of the full-length New Found Glory later that year. The album, which contained a re-recorded version of fan ducky "Gain or Miss," as well marked the band officially falling the indefinite article A from their advert. A high profile duty tour with blink-182 and an appearance on the Warped Tour helped them gain more exposure, and they stepped back into the studio at the final stage of 2001 to work on the review. The results were released in the summer of 2002 as Sticks and Stones. The Stones single "My Friends Over You" was a brobdingnagian hit, and helped rent NFG a headlining spot for the 2002 Warped Tour expedition. After the circuit and its resulting hype, New Found Glory re-entered the studio with a newfound restlessness. The result, issued in May 2004, was Catalyst, which ground the band's sugary punk-pop steeped in influences from hardcore to thrash to young wave. The live DVD This Disaster: Live in London appeared that descend as well. Catalyst poorly at number deuce-ace on Billboard's Top 200, propelled in part by the success of "All Downhill from Here." Hooking up with producer Thom Panunzio (Ozzy Osbourne, Tom Petty), NFG released their matured fifth full-length, Approaching Home, in September 2006. They like a shot hit the road in support with a drawn-out set of headlining dates throughout the U.S. and U.K. with the Early November and Cartel in tow. In 2007 the second version of From the Screen to Your Stereo, which included pop-punk covers of songs like Lisa Loeb's "Stay" and Simple Minds' "Don't You Forget About Me," came tabu.
